Jewelry is a big part of the Indian culture and it signifies different things in different occasions especially weddings. Indian bridal jewelry such as the maang tikka have a significance to the bride and is mandatory for all brides. Jewelry are part of a woman’s fantasy and therefore on her wedding day, every woman ensures that she has the perfect jewelry for the occasion. There are different types of Indian bridal jewelry to choose from and it can be quite confusing for most brides hence the help of an expert is usually recommended. Maang Tikka
The maang tikka is the most popular Indian bridal jewelry and it is mandatory for all brides to wear it. It symbolizes strength and wisdom that the woman carries to the wedding. It has a string that is attached to the hair and a center piece that hangs on the forehead.        

Chudi
Chudi is also a bangle and it is a sign of being Indian if you wear it in any part of the world. They are worn by girls and married women as well. For the brides, the chudi is not mandatory but it is customary and therefore inevitable. Some cultures in India value chudis so much that they even hold ceremonies where the bride is made to wear them in different colors before her marriage.
    


Nath
This is also a very popular Indian bridal jewelry. It is a nose ring worn by brides in some parts of India but any Indian woman can wear it for fashion. There are different types of naths depending on the occasion as well as preference of the person wearing it. There are big sized naths and small sized ones and they are in different colors as well.

Bichhua
This is also a popular jewelry in India for the brides. The bichhua is a toe ring and when an Indian woman wears it then that means they are married. They are also worn for fashion or beauty and they are normally silver in color and worn in pairs.

These are anklets in form of a chain and it comes in pairs worn at the ankles. There are different traditional and modern designs of payals to choose form depending on the one that fits your look. The payals are also mostly worn by married women. Most of the foot jewelry of Indian women don’t come in silver but modern technology has led to gold design being adopted.

Hathpool
This is also an Indian bridal jewelry that is worn on the wrist as well as the fingers by the bride. It is a bracelet with rings at one end. They don’t have any particular significance to the bride but they are working to enhance beauty.
       


There are rings worn on the finger and wearing it is compulsory for the Indian brides. This has to be worn in the ring finger of her left hand. The bride can also ear other rings even gold ones in other fingers if they wish.
